Pastoral Transition
Rev. Nancy Robinson will retire on June 30, 2023 after six years of service at the United Methodist Church in Branchville. In the United Methodist connection, pastors are appointed by our Bishop, Rev. John Schol and we are pleased to announce that Rev. Dr. Pauline Kang will begin on July 1, 2023 as our new pastor.
Hyekyung “Pauline” Kang is a second generation Methodist pastor.
Pauline has served various churches as pastor-in-charge including Mt. Horeb in Warren, Asbury in Woodstown, and Trinity in Marmora. Her teaching experience includes New York Theological Seminary and Methodist Theological University in Seoul, Korea.
She earned a B.A. in English Literature and an M.A. in Christian Education from Ewha Women’s University, an M. Div. from Drew Theological School, a Th.M. in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Princeton Theological Seminary and her Ph.D. in Leadership from Fordham University. Her passion is in pastoral care and the teaching ministry of the church. Pauline loves travel and movies.
Additional Hours for Food Pantry
The Food Pantry will be open additional hours on Thursday Evenings from 6-8pm. All Sussex County residents are welcome to come in once a month. The Food Pantry is also open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9am to Noon,.

FOOD PANTRY INFORMATION
The Food Pantry is now open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to Noon to come inside the church for food. Pursuant to the recommendation of the CDC, we ask that you wear a mask inside the building regardless of whether you are vaccinated or unvaccinated.
